Membership Dues
At this time membership is currently free of cost. This will be changing in the near future, at which time membership dues will be posted. Full Membership
Full members shall possess a minimum of a graduate degree in a discipline directly related to or involving behavior analysis, and/or be credentialled to independently practice behavior analysis without supervision. Full members shall have a professional commitment that includes teaching, research, and/or practice in behavior analysis. Full members may vote on membership decisions of the chapter. Anyone not meeting the qualifications may petition for full member status by submitting all pertinent information concerning education, training, and experience to the CABA Membership Committee.
Affiliate Membership
Affiliate members include anyone interested in the discipline of behaviour analysis, but who do not meet the requirements of full membership. This may include parents, caregivers, extended family of clients, community members, teachers, individuals in related services or providers of services to mutual clients of behavior analysts. Affiliate members enjoy all benefits of full membership except for the right to vote in general elections and the right to serve as officers. An affiliate member may be granted the right to vote on certain issues.
Student Membership
Any individual pursuing formal training in the discipline of behavior analysis may apply for membership in this category. Such an application must be accompanied by documentation certifying the applicant’s student status. Student members enjoy all benefits of full membership except for the right to vote in general elections and the right to serve as officers. An student member may be granted the right to vote on certain issues.
Membership Details
Membership is by the calendar year. Membership benefits include access to continuing education events, which include CEUs for BACB and IBAO certifications such as the BCBA, IBA and IBT. Members also have access to networking events and will be able to access recordings of past CEUs in their member portal.
